Today, let’s do something a little different! I recently went to London and I wanted to take you with me to the Deciem stores I visited.
Multi-Masking is one of the latest trends in the beauty addicts community. I’ve been a big fan of face masks for ages, so I thought it was worth me taking a closer look!
Indeed, why limit yourself to a single face mask when you can use several? (in French, we say something ironic like: “Why would you simplify things when they can complicate them?” which sums up perfectly the Multi-Masking concept IMO :P )
I feel like I need to warn you: I’m not a travel blogger. I’m not even a lifestyle blogger. Here, usually, it’s all about beauty, and only beauty. But today, I really want to make an exception and share part of my lovely trip to the US and Canada from last month through this messy travel diary! ;)
Hello from beautiful Vermont and its stunning views!
Today, I wanted to do an “anti haul”: in a nutshell, I’ll describe all the makeup that I’m not going to buy and explain why. Yes, I agree, it’s a bit provocative to write this kind of post when you have a beauty blog! ;)
Yes, now, if you have a blog that generates a lot of traffic, a successful YouTube channel or Instagram account (and/or Snapchat / Twitter / Facebook…) with a lot of subscribers/followers, you’re no longer part of the common bloggers category anymore, no, you’re now an influencer. The result is that blogging has became a lot more focused on business than it previously was, and partnerships with brands are now completely OK.
Won’t bloggers risk losing their independence through too many partnerships with brands? And what about the honesty & transparency with their readers?
A super quick post today, just to say hi!
Attention beauty addicts, Indie Makeup brands are coming! And traditional makeup brands have so much to worry about…
MAC, Nars, Dior, CHANEL etc are starting to look seriously square when compared to these new modern and dynamic makeup companies.
ColourPop, Makeup Geek, Zoeva, Sigma Beauty, Gerard Cosmetics… These names may mean nothing to you now but believe me, very soon, you will see them everywhere!
