Yes,ColourPop again… What can I say, I’m obsessed. Especially when it comes to lipstick, my guilty pleasure!
I already did a review of the infamous Lippie Stix, which I quite like, but I’m not as crazy about them then the rest of the range, to be honest. I sometimes find them a bit too opaque (and in a ski sunscreen lipstick way), and some of them really lack subtlety (their colour and their finish) .
However, when I saw that some sheer Lippie Stix were released, I was very curious to try them because I love this type of finish, especially for summer!
Let’s see these Lippie Stix Sheer in more detail!
ColourPop Lippie Stix Sheer, presentation:
After the Ultra Matte Lips and their opaque textures, sublime but a little tricky (to apply and to wear), it’s good to try some no-brainer lipsticks, super easy to apply (without a mirror) and very comfortable to wear!
ColorPop describes them as “sheer, light-weight, and ultra comfortable to wear.” They contain organic coconut butter to nourish the lips and vitamin E (antioxidant).
They are available in 8 intense and yummy colors.
ColourPop Lippie Stix Sheer, description:
The application is really easy thanks to their hyper fine and accurate packaging, I still love it! And they are super practical to slip into your (beach) bag.
The pigmentation is very good for a transparent formula. They’re far from some tinted lip balms!
The color range is very tempting. I had to restrain myself and I only chose 3, but I would have easily bough the entire range! (I may or may not have placed a second order with 3 other colors) (oooops)
The lasting power is not bad (a couple of hours), but it’s still a fairly rich formula, very balmy so it must been reapplied often. With this kind of texture, it doesn’t bother me. On the contrary, because it moisturizes the lips every application thanks to the coconut butter.
The Lippie Stix Sheer perfume is the same as for the rest of the range, a very sweet scent. It smells like vanilla or a white chocolate cookie. Yummy!
The price is the same as other Lippie Stix: $5. Difficult to not buy the entire range for that price! At least for me! wink
But sadly, they’re still hard to get, unless you live in the US… ColourPop still does not deliver internationally. sad
ColourPop Lippie Stix Sheer, the colors:
Kiddo: a corally nude shade with very warm undertones, almost orange/terracotta. I love it, it’s my favorite at the moment! I find it super cute for the warm months, it goes with a lot of different makeup looks. It’s subtle but it’s just enough to enhance the lips.
For those who know the color, according to me, it’s a sheer version of Brink Lippie Stix. (Insert all the heart eyed emojis)
Juice Bar: a very pretty pinky mauve, with cool undertones. It’s a very fresh color and I found that it makes my green eyes pop.
Peacocky: I was expecting a bright cherry red but it’s more a crimson red, very pink, almost berry. It’s a very bright color that really awakens the face and gives a lot of radiance.
Finally, here are the swatches:

In summary:
[wprs-pros][wprs-cons]
I really had a crush for this formula which hasn’t left my lips since I received them. And of course, they will be in my suitcase during my holidays!
The Lippie Stix Sheer are available on ColourPop website for $5.
And you, are you tempted by the Lippie Stix Sheer? Which colors? ;P

EDIT (12/07/16):
Great news! Worldwide delivery is finally available for ColourPop! (Well, to be precise, it will be tonight wink )
The brand is now delivering all over the world, except China and Turkey. I don’t know all the details yet but apparently the delivery fees will depend on the location and the weight of each package.
