I’m already on my second bottle of the serum The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%, so it’s about time that I tell you more about it!
The Ordinary “Buffet”, my review
I already talked about the fascinating brand The Ordinary in some of my previous articles, I will continue today with the review of one of my favorites, The Ordinary “Buffet” serum.
The Ordinary: introduction and buying guide
If like me, you’re a skincare addict, you’ve probably heard about the skincare brand whose name has been on everyone’s lips for a few months: The Ordinary. If not, let me introduce you to this skincare phenomenon!
Sunday Riley Artemis & Luna oils, my review
Since last year, the buzz around Sunday Riley has been quite unprecedented, especially online. I can’t count the number of raving reviews, especially for people who are searching for an good anti-aging solution and who have an acne prone skin.
Some of them even consider Sunday Riley products as miracle products. And well, as a true skincare junkie, I’m all about trying claimed miracle products for my old acne-prone skin! :P
L’Elixir du Marabout by Garancia, my review
On paper, L’Elixir du Marabout by Garancia has everything I need.
A 2-in-1 treatment for both acne and anti-ageing, the composition is not bad at all with a lot of natural ingredients, the fact that it’s a French pharmacy product, so not too difficult for me to find (well, not really in Dubai, but I can find it easily when I’m in France on holiday or I can also use my good old Shop and Ship), all this was so tempting!
Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate, my review
I know, I took my time to do this Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate’s review…
I wanted to wait until I finished my bottle to give you my opinion…

Serums are more and more accessible but they’re also somewhat a cash cow for cosmetics laboratories. You can find all kind of serums, but can they all really be considered a “serum”? A foundation serum like the last Dior, what is it exactly? A serum […]
10 key questions for an effective skincare routine
Inundated with information about skincare? Feeling it’s impossible to find an effective skincare routine… We often hear anything and everything about the skin: ‘the right gestures’, the miracle skincare products promising a ‘complete transformation of your skin’…
In this post, I want to focus on questions that I have often been asked in my professional life.
I worked for a cosmetics brand as a trainer for spas and beauticians for almost 10 years. I have often met regular customers in pharmacies, department stores, beauty counters while I was training the sales personnel…
Bombarded with so many cosmetics adverts, magazine articles and of course beauty blogs, why wouldn’t you feel overwhelmed. It’s so tempting to buy the latest skincare product from [fill in the blank] because you so want to believe in miracles. And of course at the end, more often than not, you feel disappointed.
Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum, my review
I’m not gonna lie, this post has been quite complicated (and long) to write… An anti-dark spots treatment is not the easiest product to put to the test. With products like the Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum it takes time and the results are not always guaranteed (sorry to be such a killjoy). Ahem. OK. So, the […]
