ColourPop Creme Gel part 2! smile Today, let’s talk about the Creme Gel Liners!
As I told you in my previous article, ColourPop launched its Creme Gel Liners simultaneously with its Creme Gel Colours and most shades exist in both versions. The Liner version is more suitable for an application in the waterline, but may also be used as a conventional eyeliner, along the lashline. A very versatile product!
The few reviews I read about them seemed to say that they were better than the Gel Creme Colour. That’s what we’ll figure out today! wink
Colourpop Creme Gel Liner, presentation:
What the brand says about them:
• Creamy application makes blending super easy, and the formula dries down for long-lasting wear!
• Because the liner is so creamy, do not over advance your liner to prevent breakage.
• For blending and smoky looks, use a pencil brush.
• Smooth glide for easy and comfortable waterline application.
Yes, certainly, the application is very simple because it’s very fine and precise but let’s be clear, the formula is not that creamy, especially for the matte ones. If you had already tried the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Pencils or my favorites, the Charlotte Tilbury Rock ‘N’ Khol, it is nothing like it, sadly… uneasy
But hey, it’s true that it’s a convenient product because you don’t need to sharpen it: it’s an automatic eyeliner pencil. Always a plus! wink
Colourpop Creme Gel Liner, the colors:
– Bee Sting: a deep royal blue, almost turquoise.
– Workout: a very deep and dark matte green.
– Best O: a true matte burgundy.
– No Shame: a very intense dark matte purple.
– Call Me: a matte warm red brown, almost burgundy but still brown.
– Show Me: a beautiful metallic light golden bronze, very luminous.
– Over Board: a true metallic bronze, beautiful!
Colourpop Creme Gel Liner, my test and thoughts:
– Packaging: an automatic pencil, which doesn’t need to be sharpened. Be aware, the tip is extremely fragile, it breaks just by looking at it (I’m almost not exaggerating :/ )
– Formula and texture: a gel-cream formula, which is more or less creamy depending on the colors. I noticed that the metallic colors are much more creamy and glide better than the matte ones. The matte ones tend to crumble slightly when you apply them. They completely dry after a few seconds but they can be blended far more easily than the Creme Gel Colour. However, once they have dried, same issue as the latter, you can’t really “correct” them as they tend to crumble and detach from your skin…
– Color Range: 25 shades, with neutral colors and brighter colors, with mattes or metallic finishes, the choice is wide!
– Pigmentation: very good, the colors are intense and very opaque on the skin.
– Application: very easy, the tip is very precise. It can be applied without problem in the waterline and the tightline. It can be blended and smudged with a pencil brush (I love the Makeup Geek one, so precise!).
However as I explained above, once the product is dry, any attempt to correct tends to remove the product off your skin. But I can assure you, there is time to blend it, it doesn’t dry as fast as the Creme Gel Colour! wink
– Lasting Power: the lasting power is excellent, I would even say impressive in the waterline. It doesn’t move all day, it’s tear-resistant, doesn’t transfer and doesn’t budge!
– Value For Money: quite good because it’s a very affordable product ($6) but it’s not the best automatic eyeliner formula that I’ve tried. However, the metallic ones are really not bad at all, I would even recommend them!
– Availability: you need to order them online and they still don’t deliver worldwide… sad

In summary:
[wprs-pros][wprs-cons]
I love the metallic eyeliners but I’m not so sure about the matte ones. Although the colors are all super pretty, I find them a bit dry and they lack of comfort when you wear them.
But the lasting power is really impressive for all of them!
If I had to choose between these and the Creme Gel Colour , I think I’d rather recommend the Creme Gel Liners: they are more practical and versatile and can be blended easily.
The Creme Gel Liners are available on ColourPop website for $6 each.
And you, did you tried the ColourPop Creme Gel Liners? Tempted? Which colors?;)

Great news! Worldwide delivery is finally available for ColourPop! (Well, to be precise, it will be tonight wink )
The brand is now delivering all over the world, except China and Turkey. I don’t know all the details yet but apparently the delivery fees will depend on the location and the weight of each package.
